About Stuart White, PhD

Dr. Stuart White, PhD is a juvenile justice and adolescent mental health consultant and expert witness. He earned his PhD in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of New Orleans in 2010. Dr. White then completed post-doctoral and research fellowships in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging at the National Institute of Mental Health at NIH from 2010 to 2015. He previously ran an independent NIH funded laboratory and served as the Lead Scientist for Research, Data Analytics, and Modeling at the Nebraska Children and Families Foundation. Dr. White has authored over 70 scientific and academic publications focusing on juvenile antisocial behavior, adolescent development, and related basic science topics. Dr. White sits on the editorial boards of the journals Research on Child and Adolescent Psychopathology and Frontiers in Human Neuroscience and is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Nebraska, Omaha and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Dr. White lives in Lincoln, Nebraska with his wife and daughter and two Newfoundlands.
